In partnership with United Way of Fort Smith Area, 100 Families, and 64.6 Downtown, join us at the Fort Smith Area Poverty Simulation on Thursday, April 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church (116 N 12th, Fort Smith, AR 72901) in Fort Smith. We hope that you will also share this information with colleagues and board members to attend as well.
The Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) is an interactive, immersion experience. The simulation provides a glimpse into the structural barriers of poverty to transform participants’ perspectives about their own communities. These transformed perspectives inspire action toward positive community change.
