Meet and Greet with WAPDD at Greenwood Chamber

Is your business in need of employees?

On Wednesday, October 18th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., we will hold a drop in session for all businesses to tell us what employees they need.

Dennis Williamson, Director of Western Arkansas Workforce Development and Christy Clark, with Greenwood School to Work will be in the Chamber conference room at 16 Town Square.

Dennis has wide ranging resources to match job seekers with jobs. He has access to programs that can assist with training new employees and even with helping to get the first few weeks of new hire’s wages paid. He has potential employees waiting that he can place immediately.

Christy manages the Greenwood Public School program that places supervised students into local businesses both as part time employees and as trainees for future full time employment. She too has potential employees waiting that can be placed immediately.

The programs are open to all employers in the area whether you are seeking full or part time employees. No appointment is needed, just drop in between 10 and 2 on the 18th.
